As many of our community members will already be aware, Rani Sobin (our Clinical Manager), has decided that after 6 years at Rannerdale it’s time for a change of scenery (and possibly pace!). Rani is leaving us to pursue a role as a Clinical Lead in another organisation, which will see her with an opportunity to grow her clinical expertise further.
Rani’s service to the Home has been truly outstanding during her time with us, this was especially apparent with regards to the way she led the RNs and HCAs during the level 3 & 4 lockdown restrictions. Although we will miss Rani terribly we know that she will will be back to visit and look forward to her doing so. It has been a privilege to work with her and we wish her every success for the future. For anyone wishing to pop in and say goodbye in person, Rani’s last day at Rannerdale will be 30 July.
That said, we have been extremely fortunate in successfully securing a new Clinical Manager, who is currently working alongside Rani in order to complete two weeks of handover and orientation. Sarah Van Vianen is an experienced Facility and Clinical Manager and brings an impressive skill set with her. We are excited to be welcoming Sarah into the Rannerdale family. Please be sure to introduce yourself to her the next time you visit.
Take care out there,
