Facility Status: Business as Usual – Please do not visit if you are unwell.
As of midnight, 21 September 2020, Auckland moved out of level 2.5 down to alert level 2 where it is anticipated to stay for another two weeks. The rest of the New Zealand is now at alert level 1. We are continuing to monitor the situation globally and nationally carefully.
- Visitors must follow the Ministry of Health’s and the facility’s infection prevention and control measures, for example hand hygiene, physical distancing and appropriate use of PPE.
- Visitors must stay at home if they are unwell, under investigation of COVID-19 or a close contact of someone who is a probable or confirmed COVID-19 case.
- Visitors must record visits using QR codes, adding a manual entry to their digital diary or sign in manually.
- Given some of our residents are frailer than others we continue to take guidance from them and/or their enduring power of attorney of their preferences in so far as going on outings and receiving visitors. If you are unsure if your loved one or friend is accepting visitors at the moment, please call ahead and speak to one of our registered nurses to prevent disappointment.
Stay safe out there.
