Rannerdale Veterans' Hospital and Home is an accredited provider of the New Zealand Nursing Council's Competency Assessment Programme.

This programme is for Nursing Council approved applicants seeking to obtain New Zealand nursing registration. It is aimed at nurses who have previously held New Zealand nursing registration but who have been out of nursing practice for five or more years, and for overseas registered nurses seeking New Zealand nursing registration who meet Nursing Council criteria and have been approved by the Nursing Council to undertake such a programme.

Any registered nurse interested in the programme is required to follow the process set out by the Nursing Council, and should first visit the New Zealand Nursing Council website for more information.
